Take a break from complex holiday calculations.

There is a minimum holiday entitlement for all employees, but it's up to you how you administer them. When you've got staff that work varying hours or shifts, it can become complex working out holiday entitlement and managing multiple holiday schemes.
  • Calculate holiday entitlement based on an employees start date or annual entitlement in hours
  • Specify seasonal or part time employees' holiday entitlement, based on expected annual hours
  • Automatically calculates extra days entitlement for length of service
  • Updates employees' holiday entitlement if they change hours or schemes and maintains a historical record of the changes

Easier to update your accounts with improved links.

Sage Payroll 2007 introduces improved links to Sage Line 50 so you can now update, look up and create new Sage Line 50 nominal codes directly from Sage Payroll. Post your bank payments straight into Sage Line 50, making your payroll payments so much quicker and easier. You can also maintain a record of your costs, with the ability to export your nominal postings into Microsoft® Excel.

Say goodbye to complex final pay calculations for leavers.

It’s now much easier to calculate final pay when an employee leaves. Sage Payroll 2007 automatically calculates any outstanding payments and deductions, including attachment of earnings, holiday payments or company loans.

Don’t forget you can already submit your P45 and in-year forms to HMRC electronically if you are using Sage Payroll version 10 or above.

In addition, there are new routines to automatically update your salary and payment frequency. You can also use your payroll information to send letters or emails from Microsoft® Office to your employees.
